Emeya R

The Lotus Emeya R is a 5-seat liftback with all-wheel drive, sold new from 2024 to 2025, when it cost £131,255 in the UK, and now only available second-hand. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, quicker than 96% of the electric cars on sale in the UK. Its estimated real-world range is 289 miles (465 km) in a mix of town, country and motorway driving. That is longer than 65% of the 471 electric cars on sale in the UK, and 27th of 38 liftbacks.

It uses around 2.9 mi/kWh (213 Wh/km), less efficient than the typical EV on sale (3.5 mi/kWh). The usable battery holds 98.9 kWh and on a rapid charger it averages 328 kW between 10% and 80%. With one 15-minute charging stop, it can cover an estimated 380 miles (611 km) at motorway speeds.

It has a heat pump, which helps preserve range in cold weather, and it does not support vehicle-to-load (V2L). The battery uses NCM chemistry, which stores more energy for its weight than LFP.
